The Virginia Horse Center began its 2024 equestrian season last weekend with its Cross-Country Dressage Trials Series. Nearly two thousand riders and coaches participate in events each weekend at the peak of the season in July. Rockbridge County Administrator Spencer Suter said horse show participants and spectators bring in nearly $4 million to local governments and businesses each year.
