Making donuts begins early at Pure Eats in Lexington. Employees—including the “donut divas”—make donuts from scratch and add flavors and other unique touches. The owner says she expects they will make over three-thousand donuts for Valentine’s Day. It’s a treat that for some rivals flowers, chocolate, and diamonds.
