The Buena Vista Public Library will open back up on Magnolia Avenue when it finishes moving items back from St. John’s United Methodist Church, where it has been for the last month. The library’s staff left the property after Branch Manager Elaina Skovira saw brick dust falling from the ceiling of the building. The city hired an engineer, who documented damage to the building. But he said the building posed no danger to the public.
