The Rockbridge County Board of Supervisors approved a 24-hour EMS staffing proposal in a unanimous vote on Monday. EMS personnel working 24-hour shifts will operate from Kerr’s Creek during the day. At night, the crew will respond to emergency calls from the Rockbridge Regional 911 Center in Buena Vista. The 24-hour crew’s priority will be supporting Glasgow Rescue, but it will also help other fire and rescue stations when needed.
