October is Wine Month in Virginia and the state ranks among the top ten wine regions in the United States. There are over 300 wineries in the Commonwealth, five of them in Rockbridge County alone. Local winemakers and salespeople agree that wine consumption increased during the pandemic. They’re happy their businesses are thriving and the industry is growing.
