BARC Connects is looking to add a third broadband option for Lexington residents and businesses by installing fiber internet around town.
BARC says the installation will be minimally disruptive and will require an inch-and-a-half incision in the road to install.
Mayor Frank Friedman believes the added competition will help lower prices for consumers.
