Lexington has a new city manager. City Council last week voted to hire Jim Halasz for the top administrative position. Halasz has decades of experience in the field and worked most recently in Halifax County in southern Virginia. Before that, he served as assistant city manager in Staunton for 12 years.

Emma Coleman sat down with the new city manager this week for this Rockbridge Report Newsmaker interview.
