Glasgow Town Council

Glasgow voters picked James “Sonny” Williams, Andy Ryan and Aaron Britton to the town council, according to final counts.

Williams and Ryan were both re-elected with Williams getting 33 percent of the vote with 200 ballots and Ryan receiving 23.6 percent of the vote with 143 ballots.

Britton grabbed the third seat with 22.11 percent of the vote at 139 ballots – just 10 votes more than the fourth candidate, Barrett McFaddin. The town council race is the only election for Glasgow on Tuesday.

Goshen Mayor and Town Council

Goshen’s final counts show Thomas McGraw as the new mayor. The uncontested candidate and former vice-mayor has 100 percent of votes – or 34 ballots.

Goshen’s final counts report that Shirley Rorer won the uncontested seat for town council, at 100 percent with 56 ballots. Two other spots on the town council are vacant.

Buena Vista City Council

Stanley Coffey captured 1,512 votes, 96 percent, and write-in candidates received 63 votes, 4 percent.

Coffey was elected in January to serve the remainder of Mayor Billy Fitzgerald’s term on council.
