The Lex Lynx mini golf course opened at 312 South Main Street earlier this month as a temporary fixture. In the next few years, the site will be converted into an interactive children’s museum, known as Discovery Heights. The project was inspired by a group of parents and educators who noticed that the Lexington area lacked educational and social activities for young children. The Discovery Heights team is in the process of fundraising, but plans have already been made for the museum’s layout and exhibits.
