Lexington restarted its curbside pick up of glass recycling due to demand of residents. Some Lexington residents drove their glass to Auto Recyclers in Buena Vista to recycle it, where it was turned into sand or landscaping materials. Lexington now sends its recycled glass into Rockbridge County, where it serves a new purpose at the landfill.
