The Shenandoah Ballet in Buena Vista is the smallest dance company in the area and the only one that performs Tchaikovsky’s holiday favorite: The Nutcracker. Director Missy Floyd says her studio focuses on classical ballet, unlike the other two studios in the Shenandoah Valley. The troupe will perform the Nutcracker at Washington and Lee University’s Lenfest Center for Performing Arts Dec. 16, 17, and 18.
