As the Virginia Horse Center celebrates 30 years in Rockbridge County, directors are moving forward with renovations to existing facilities. Lexington and Rockbridge County extended the one percent lodging tax for five years to help pay for the upkeep. The horse center is also looking to add a number of athletic fields for community use on some open fields.
