R.E. Lee Memorial Church’s refugee resettlement working group will host a meeting with church leaders and members of the community Oct. 8, to discuss how local congregations can aid in refugee resettlement efforts. The Harrisonburg chapter of Church World Service, a global immigration and refugee resettlement program, intends to partner with local churches as soon as they can determine the scope of their involvement.
