Time is getting short for Washington and Lee University officials to decide whether they want a five-acre solar panel array near the school’s planned third-year housing. Construction on the housing has begun, but the university’s trustees recently postponed a decision on the solar panel project. The university has already won approval from Rockbridge County, but now it must wait until the trustees’ next meeting in May for a final decision.
