The Rockbridge County Sheriff’s office screens over a hundred calls reporting domestic abuse annually. Sheriff’s Investigator Miles Kelly says there are probably more incidents that go unreported. Project Horizon Executive Director Judy Casteele hopes the expansion of Lisa’s House, an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, will provide more help to the community.
