Maury River Middle School girls have been teaming up with Washington and Lee University’s Women in Technology and Science since 1999. WITS members help the girls conduct experiments, hoping to get them interested in typically male-dominated fields. This semester, the middle schoolers have been learning to write computer code and do neuroscience testing.
