Negative advertising in the gubernatorial race and the many uncontested local elections were on the minds of Buena Vista voters Tuesday. The attack ads in the governor’s race turned at least one voter toward Libertarian candidate Robert Sarvis. The elections for mayor, city council and school board in Buena Vista were all uncontested. That bothers some local political activists.
