Big-rig drivers see an economy still struggling

From their position on highways, truckers get a broad view of the distress of the nation’s economy up and down the coasts and across the country.

In interviews at White’s Travel Center in Raphine, truckers from Arizona to Pennsylvania say they have little faith in politicians’ ability to solve problems in Washington, and they say they have no confidence in President Obama or his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney.
