More than 200 people showed up at the Virginia Horse Center Wednesday morning in search of jobs. Forty employers attended the job fair, which was sponsored by the City of Buena Vista, the Chamber of Commerce and People Link Staffing Solutions. Unemployment rates in Buena Vista and Lexington are well above the statewide rate.
