For the third year, local nature lovers have the chance to spend more than 40 hours in the classroom and the field training to become Virginia Master Naturalists. The Rockbridge County chapter’s new class of 13 began in mid-February. The training, covering all things environmental, will last until the end of May. Master Naturalists qualify to volunteer to teach children about plants and animals and to lead hikes.
