In a game that has fueled some of the greatest sports rivalries, Andrew and Lauren Rowsey have found common ground. The siblings leave their competitive natures on the Rockbridge County High School basketball court, and help each other on their home hoop. Andrew, a 6-foot junior, and Lauren, a 5-foot-10 sophomore, learned basketball as children from their father and now travel the country playing the game they love. Through all of their practices and games, Andrew says they’ve learned the most from each other.
“We’re kind of on the same path and we know what each other is going through with sports and everything,” he said.
