President Joe Biden urged Congress to step in and impose a previously discussed settlement between unions and rail companies involved in the dispute. Both houses of Congress have passed the bill and Biden will likely sign it soon.
Biden met with top Republicans and Democrats to go over legislative priorities for the future. Issues on the table included averting a government shutdown and funding aid for Ukraine.
