Browsing: Jordan’s Point Dam

The Lexington City Government is working with a landscape and architecture planning firm to renovate the Jordan’s Point Park.

Water levels need to decrease before contractors can take the dam apart, piece by piece.  

The City Council will likely move forward with removing the dam at Jordan’s Point following the rejection of a proposal by American Dams.

American Dams might be able to save the Jordan’s Point dam from removal if it meets an Oct. 4 deadline.

The Jordan’s Point Dam may be demolished as early as next year, but not everyone agrees with the decision.
