McAuliffe, the presumptive front-runner in the five-person Democratic primary, has been methodically locking up and rolling out an unmatched number of endorsements.
The debate will be broadcast online and on four TV stations across the state, including WSET in Lynchburg. It will be the first time all five candidates appear on screen together.
