Republican Rep. Ben Cline will hold his seat as the representative of Virginia’s 6th House District. With close to 90% of the vote in, Cline holds a 25-percentage-point advantage over Democrat Jennifer Lewis.

The four candidates running for Lexington City Council, as well as Rep. Ben Cline and his opponent Jennifer Lewis, appeared at a candidates’ forum Oct. 25. The forum was hosted by the Lexington-Rockbridge Chamber of Commerce and focused on housing, economic development and other policy topics. One candidate said “a woman’s place is in the home.”
