Buena Vista is rolling out a new grant program, the first of its kind in years, aimed at revitalizing buildings fronts in the city’s main corridors. The city gave all 15 applicants a portion of the $28,000 in available funds. This year’s grant program is the first to include homes, instead of just businesses. Economic Development Director Kristina Ramsey says she hopes the upgrades will spark investment, increase property values, and boost tourism.
