Buena Vista City Council gave what it hopes will be its last contribution to the Vista Links pavilion. Vista Links General Manager and Golf Pro Ed Armentrout has approached council three times asking for money to complete the project. The city and private donors have given about $40,000 each to see the building’s completion in April. The pavilion will replace a tent that was destroyed in a storm last year. Planners hope to use the building for tournaments, cookouts and ceremonies, as well as rent it out for parties and concerts. Hendley Badcock has the story.
