The Rockbridge Area Relief Association, Campus Kitchen, and Community Table are all seeing an increase in visits as food prices rise, and SNAP benefits are cut. The 2026 Virginia Hunger Survey found that 42% of Virginia residents experience food insecurity. As the need for food donations grows in Rockbridge County, these organizations say they are expanding food distribution and seeking additional funding to keep up.
