Generals look to stay undefeated as W&L hosts second weekend of NCAA women’s basketball tournament

The Washington and Lee women’s basketball team is preparing to host Bethel University, Denison University and John Carroll University in the upcoming Sweet 16 and Elite 8 rounds of the NCAA Division III Tournament. The team improved to 30-0 following wins last weekend over St. Mary’s College and Christopher Newport University – and it’s anticipating big crowds once again, after filling Holekamp Gym with well over 500 fans in each of those games.
