The Lexington Farmers Market has been selling produce and baked goods at the McCrum’s parking lot for almost 25 years. Manager Nina Kauder says the lot is too small and unsafe because it’s on a slope.
Many vendors and customers say they are also looking forward to a future move. Kauder is resuming the search for a new location for the year-round operation after Food Lion offered only a seven-month contract at Stonewall Square.
