Buena Vista receives grant money to assess flood hazards

Over the past 25 years, Buena Vista has fallen behind in updating its flood mitigation efforts, leaving residents to worry that they are at risk every time it rains hard. Tom Roberts, director of community development, says he is working on a plan that assesses the city’s six creeks that pose a danger for future flooding.
