Buena Vista plan calls for tree board to encourage expanding the city’s tree cover

Buena Vista is working to expand its canopy, with plans to plant 100 trees annually. Community Development Director Tom Roberts presented the city’s plan, which includes a proposal to create a tree board to oversee maintenance and volunteer efforts. The plan aims to not only beautify the city but engage private landowners and collaborate with organizations like Boxerwood Nature Center.
