The City of Lexington has increased parking enforcement after business owners complained that customers can't find parking spaces. Shop owners blame downtown workers, who leave their cars in the two-hour spaces all day. Bella Timmerding reports!

Parents living outside of the city struggle to get their children into Lexington City Schools

Over 150 students who do not live in the city applied to attend Lexington City Schools this year. Unlike past years, the division had to deny applications, even for students whose siblings already go to the school. Eric Evje, a parent living in Rockbridge County, has two children who attend Lexington City Schools, but when he applied to enroll his kindergartener, he was denied. Some parents are moving into the city limits or buying a second home in the city to get their kids into the schools.
