Rockbridge County Public Schools yet to decide on following Virginia’s cell phone-free guidelines

Governor Glenn Youngkin’s executive order directed the Virginia Department of Education to create cell phone-free education guidance for public school divisions. The final guidance asks schools to ban cellphone use for the entire day, including lunch and between class periods. Rockbridge County Public Schools hasn’t decided if it will adjust its policies to follow the guidance.
