Grant approved for funding broadband in Rockbridge County

After three attempts in three years, Rockbridge County received a $2.2 million grant to extend high-speed internet to rural parts of the county.  The grant isn’t enough to reach everyone in the county. Some homeowners and businesses will still be left without internet, especially in Vesuvius. Rockbridge County Administrators say they are still pushing to bring broadband fiber optic internet to the entire county.
