The Rockbridge Area Relief Association is launching a drive-through pet food pantry in January, filling a void created when a volunteer-run animal alliance closed more than two months ago.

100-year-old fabric artist continues to quilt jackets

Meet 100-year-old textile artist Nancy Epley. On a recent Saturday, more than 100 people celebrated Epley’s work with an art show of her jackets at Kendal at Lexington.

About 20 people wore jackets she made in years past. “I just love the feel and colors of fabric,” Epley said.
