Rockbridge Area Transportation System honors founder with new services

The Rockbridge Area Transportation System is using federal funding for Virginia to launch the state’s first stretcher van service for non-emergency medical transportation for Rockbridge, Alleghany, and Augusta counties. Executive Director Michelle Watkins says she hopes the service will be ready by the end of the month.
