Finding holiday gifts won’t be as easy this year, thanks to ripple effects from COVID-19. Global slowdowns in shipping, coupled with increased consumer demand, mean delays and shortages in toys and other goods. Many Lexington shop owners placed their holiday orders earlier this year in hopes of keeping shelves stocked. They remain optimistic that last week’s parade and other events yet to come will keep shoppers in the holiday spirit.
