Dabney S. Lancaster Community College is one step away from officially being known as Mountain Gateway Community College. The potential new name was approved by the local board last week and will be voted on by the state board in November. If it is approved, Dabney S. Lancaster Community College will be known as Mountain Gateway Community College starting July 1, 2022.
