Lexington businesses complain about construction

Businesses on South Main Street in Lexington say they are losing money because of water outages caused by construction crews replacing water pipes. On top of that the businesses are dealing with extra dirt and gravel tracked into their stores. Restaurant and shop owners say they want more notice from city officials to prepare for gaping holes by their storefronts. Construction started in October and is scheduled to be completed in July.
