Shenandoah National Park is picking up the pieces after the federal government shutdown caused delays in road repairs. Portions of the Blue Ridge Parkway and Skyline Drive were closed after an ice storm in November downed several trees. Crews resumed their work on Monday. It is unclear when the roads will reopen.
