While Tuesday night’s statewide election results surprised many observers, results in Lexington, Buena Vista and Rockbridge County came as no surprise. As in past years, Lexington voted for the winner, Democrat Ralph Northam, while Buena Vista voted for Republican Ed Gillespie. Overall, the county voted red.
