Buena Vista names Steve Bolster as new finance director. Bolster wants to update old software to find inefficiencies and wasted money. He has lots of work ahead: Buena Vista has a long list of projects that need funding.

Boxerwood programs inspire budding environmentalists

Many students throughout Rockbridge County, Buena Vista and Lexington are pursuing varying degrees of environmental studies in higher education. What many have in common is their early start at the Boxerwood Nature Center and Woodland Garden. The center offers several programs geared towards connecting young children to wildlife and nature.
