Buena Vista is second in job growth in the Shenandoah Valley region, with over 300 jobs added in the last six years. Manufacturing is strong, but it has been difficult for some companies to fill job openings. One company, Munters Corporation, is expanding and hiring 100 new workers. But the manufacturer needs workers with special skills.
