With Election Day a week and a half away, Goshen residents are looking for a mayor and two town councilors. The mayor and town councilors serve as volunteers, making it difficult to find residents willing to put in the time and effort for the job. Only one candidate, Tom McCraw, put his name on the ballot for the Nov. 8 election. The small town of around 324 people has struggled in recent years with an aging water system, business closings and people moving away.
