The Palms has been a part of Lexington for 75 years. K&R Restaurants purchased the landmark eatery in 2013. Based in Staunton, K&R is focused on refining The Palms’s brand and improving customer experience. Giovanni Cannata, operations manager for K&R, said that his team’s goal is to bring The Palms into a “new era” of dining without sacrificing the restaurant’s sense of tradition.
