Lexington and Rockbridge County schools are struggling to stay open as February’s harsh weather continues this month. Parents say they have to stay home from work or find daycare when schools close, and the expense is affecting some families. Rockbridge County canceled school nine days in a row but has no built-in snow days. So students and teachers will have to stay in school until mid-June.
