CVS Caremark announced Feb. 5 that it would stop selling tobacco products in all its stores in October. Gas station and convenience store employees in the Rockbridge area expect their tobacco sales to increase. Local officials aren’t sure what effect CVS’ action will have on sales tax revenues.
