The Rockbridge area Chamber of Commerce’s efforts to promote local shopping include a membership benefits card, which offers local discounts to the employees of businesses that are chamber members. Chamber Executive Director Sammy Moore said the chamber has discussed introducing a mobile app to encourage people to use the discounts in local shops.
