The Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office has received approval from the Board of Supervisors to build its own training facilities. The plan includes a new shooting range, observation deck, and classroom for officers on county landfill property. This will be the first training area for the county law enforcement officers, who have previously relied on Lexington and other nearby facilities.
